Symposium brings industry issues to Government
The Urban Greenscapes Symposium 2009 will be held at the Canberra Convention Centre on February 17. The purpose of the symposium is to highlight the benefit of trees and plants in the urban environment and to create a Green Paper on what is required to get universal government support for increased urban greening.
CNP scholarship offers students incentive for continuing development

Agri-Food Skills International Fellowship
Nursery & Garden Industry Personnel urged to apply!
The Board of the Agri-Food Industry Skills Council has announced a new Agri-Food International Fellowship to study overseas. The fellowship is aimed particularly at established, highly capable and experienced industry practitioners who may have broad technical expertise or a record of achievement in their fields. It will promote the acquisition of new skills, knowledge and innovative ideas overseas and to see these findings delivering benefits to the Agri-Food Industry in Australia.

The Australian Centre for Intellectual Property in Agriculture (ACIPA), in conjunction with Horticulture Australia Ltd (HAL) is holding two free workshops and a conference on intellectual property issues for horticulture industries.
