Horticulture Training Package update

For some time, Agrifood Skills Australia has been engaged in the process of merging three of its Training Packages to become the single Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package (AHC10).

Work has also taken place in the context of a national policy environment where potential changes and simplifications to endorsed components have been on the agenda for several years.

As at the beginning of October, Agrifood has therefore given priority to finalising AHC and submitting the package for endorsement at the earliest opportunity. Consultation with the Nursery industry will continue throughout October with information for all interested parties available on Agrifood’s website by the end of November www.agrifoodskills.net.au.
