National Conference exposes the provocative side of seachange
The 2008 Conference program is intent to push those sensitive industry buttons working hard to find different angles, alternative solutions and positive thinking for the industry.
Robert Gottliebsen, one of Australia’s most prominent business commentators and Dr Wendy Craik, chief executive of the Murray-Darling Basin Commission will dive straight in to the delicate areas of politics and the media. With the recent change in government, these sessions are designed to give the industry a platform of understanding for the future.
Professor Neville Norman will tackle the changing corporate environment and look at how the wholesale and retail cycles have been affected by the ‘big boxes’ such as Big W and Bunnings.
Sharing her own seachange story and her passion for life is Dorinda Hafner. Dorinda is a lively entertainer who is just a little bit cheeky, and will revitalise positive thinking for the industry.
Supporting the program are technical and retail streams for concurrent session. Our informative speakers will provide delegates with practical information that businesses and individuals can use immediately.
Early bird registration for the 2008 National Conference & Exhibition is now open and members can register for $745 before 31 January, 2008. For more information on the 2008 Nursery and Garden Industry National Conference contact Conference Solutions on (02) 6285 3000 or visit www.ngia.com.au.
