CNP program – join now and reap the benefits!
The Certified Nursery Professional program has recently confirmed a number of initiatives and updates.
Conference and Exhibition
There will be an exclusive ‘Conference Welcome’ function for Certified Nursery Professionals (CNPs) on March 25, the evening prior to the official opening of the national conference. This function enables CNPs from all over Australia to get together for a casual networking opportunity over some cold beverages and tasty canapés. An extra benefit for CNPs is the Early Bird conference registration rate, which they are eligible for regardless of the date the registration is made.
CNP joining fee promotion
For the next 12 months, NGIA will be offering a special joining fee to businesses wishing to register two or more employees as CNP members. The offers means each business will only have to pay the amount it normally costs to register one staff member as a CNP ($75) when registering two or more. The membership fee will still remain the same ($90 every two years).
CNP points
CNP membership is maintained via the accumulation of 20 CNP points every 24 months. Recently, there have been updates to the various ways in which to accumulate these points. See www.ngia.com.au for a list of these methods.
Keep an eye on the NGIA website or your own state website for up-to-date information on the training that will be available through NGI. This information is invaluable for on-going professional development and CNP membership.
If you were thinking of becoming a CNP, now is the time to act!
